This book was a very interesting book about a young boy who was turned into a half vampire and has to go through all the difficulties of benign one. From his incredible strength to his razor sharp nails. But he is a weird one; he does not want to drink human blood. And without it he will eventually die. In this book he meets friends both freaks and not. For example; Erva the snake boy body full of scales and an awesome reptile expert. Then you have Sam a regular human who want to go live with Sharren (the half vampire) in the cirque de freak. This is an awesome book full of laughter and excitement and I really recommend this book to anyone who wants a god reading.

The Journey
One day you finally knew what you had to do, and began, though the voices around you kept shouting their bad advice– though the whole house began to tremble and you felt the old tug at your ankles. “Mend my life!” each voice cried. But you didn’t stop. You knew what you had to do, though the wind pried with its stiff fingers at the very foundations, though their melancholy was terrible. It was already late enough, and a wild night, and the road full of fallen branches and stones. But little by little, as you left their voices behind, the stars began to burn through the sheets of clouds, and there was a new voice which you slowly recognized as your own, that kept you company as you strode deeper and deeper into the world, determined to do the only thing you could do– determined to save the only life you could save. Reflection- this poem is bout ditractions and bad influences that we need to come across Sleeping In The Forest I thought the earth remembered me, she took me back so tenderly, arranging her dark skirts, her pockets full of lichens and seeds. I slept as never before, a stone on the river bed, nothing between me and the white fire of the stars but my thoughts, and they floated light as moths among the branches of the perfect trees. All night I heard the small kingdoms breathing around me, the insects, and the birds who do their work in the darkness. All night I rose and fell, as if in water, grappling with a luminous doom. By morning I had vanished at least a dozen times into something better.

I admit these things are pretty freakin kool but , what the fudge! Peeps dont got a life! Rick Riordan’s 1st book in the series of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians”, this book is about a boy after having many problems in school, and after him having an argument with his school teacher, and her trying to kill him. He finds out this his father is the Greek god of the sea, Poseidon. He also finds out that his father isn’t supposed to be having kids! And then h finds out that he has to clear his father’s name, that his father has been blamed for stealing Zeus’s master bolt. So now he has to go live in this camp were half-blood’s (half human half god) have to live and learn how to fight of monsters in order to survive.
On this quest he must journey he is allowed two companions, Grover/ his best friend who he ends up to be a satyr (half human half goat) and Annabeth who is the daughter of Athena. They help him on his journey to the underworld to help retrieve the master bolt, which they think was taken by Hades himself. But everywhere they turned they ran into more problems, and more creatures that caused them to take longer though they only had two week.
This book has many different settings… from New York to Los Angeles and most places in between. The reasons are that in the book, Olympus (the temple of the gods) has moved along with the civilization. Los Angeles is the gate way to the underworld; the empire state building has the elevator that takes you to the 300th floor which is Olympus. The blizzard of2010 was pretty freaking awesome I say…. No school for a week, just like a second winter break it was awesome. I got to go over my cousins and chill out. We played videogames while it snowed out went outside to jump off the roof into the snow, which was like killer! Then the next day we went out and walked around his neighborhood and looked for elderly people who needed their driveways shoveled. We found two. So we shoveled there snow and ended up making 42$ in an hour and 45 minutes. After that we just kept walking around his neighborhood and I hung out with his chick friends.
When I got bored of hanging out with my cousin Anthony I decided to go over my friend John’s house. He’s an awesome dude and we usually have a great time hanging out. So like I went over and we were walking around and we were like we should go over Abby’s. We went over and started gaming and just being bums like always. But this time Abby’s friend came over.
Her name was Kendall and we started talking and started to mess around. We all were playing left 4 dead and call of duty, being all bored and just bumming it. But then the next day John wanted to go over his girlfriends’ house so they could hang out and go watch a movie. But I didn’t want to; I would rather go spend time with Abby and Kendall. But I went with him and I was bored the whole time. When they went to the movies they just to drop me off at Abby’s and I would wait for him there. So I did and I got to and out with Kendall like I wanted. So I was happy.
And ever since I’ve been having a great time so like now it’s boring not hanging out with them.
My board was exactly this, I got it black Friday and it just snapped 2 days ago (3/10/10) it lasted me about 3 or 4 months and it was one of my best decks. I was skating with Frankie and we were just messing around doing simple stuff. But I already knew it would snap soon because I was using it non-stop. This board lasted me some good runs and landed a couple of my tricks on it for the 1st time.
